We weren't sure how long some of them were out before being gathered, so the first batch got scrambled and fed back to the chickens.
From now on they're ours!

You fed the chickens their own eggs? Isn't that cannibalism?
naww... You don't want to feed them raw eggs because in theory they'll get the idea that eggs are tasty and then you get a problem.
If you scramble them then no such problems. Chickens don't know what you're feeding them.
And you're not feeding them baby chickens! :) Just feeding them the good stuff in the egg that would have been eaten by a developing chick anyway. Lot better than throwing the eggs in the compost pile!
Hurray for eggs! Now I really wish we were in C-ville. Fresh Engler Eggs!
